The Earth… How beautiful this word sounds! Mother Earth has many children – green woods and blue rivers, exotic plants, and wild animals, tiny insects and majestic mountains, free birds and wise people… “We are all a part of God’s great big family and the truth, you know, is that love is all we need.” Do we always care about the Earth? Do we always realize effect of our actions? What can we do to save our planet?
I’d like to share my ideas about problem of pollution in our city. I believe everybody wants to live in clean and beautiful city. Then why are our streets and parks so dirty? I’m sure we should begin with ourselves. If you throw gum, candy, ice-cream wrappers in school halls or streets you cause pollution environment, you make our city dirty! Imagine, if everybody threw any kind of trash on the ground at the same moment, what would happen to you poor city.
There is one more problem in our city. It’s air pollution. All residents of Zaporizhzhia know that sometimes we can observe smog. Every day we breathe polluted air and it influences our health.
One more thing to worry about: what can we say about the quality water we drink? Using it without any kind of filter and boiling is dangerous for our health.
Let’s stop polluting our ancient city! Let’s remember – the fortune of our city, our country, our planet is in our hands!
